I listened to a preacher this morning on TV raving at his congregation about their god-given right to be free. To not wear masks. To not follow social distancing rules. To not take a vaccine whenever it becomes available.

I don’t understand the depths of human stupidity that produce a rant like that.

Or to produce the inane cheers of his congregants. They sounded like they were on some kind of an emotional drug trip.

I can’t even wrap my mind around it.
