I know much of Heinlein's writing reflected the essential sexism of the mid-20th-century America that formed him, but I wish more people could see what you see in his storytelling.

He inspired me in some of the ways he did you, in terms of acceptinging myself and valuing created family.

That reminds me that it may be time for a reread of some of my favorites.
