I keep trying to tell people the Lincoln Project contributed nothing to Biden’s narrow victory.

The only reason Biden won is that more Democrats came out to vote than in 2016. More Republicans and Trumpists came out too, but not quite enough.

The bulk of the American population is suffering —poorer and with a lower standard of living than their parents and grandparents.

Populists like Trump will always be waiting in the wings to exploit their fears and genuine frustration. Maintaining the status quo is a guaranteed loser for Democrats and for anyone who wants the American people to enjoy prosperity.

We desperately need bold voices on the left to move us forward.
