I just LOVE this story. When I started editing, I was just working, you know. Even things you love to do become routine chores when you do them often enough. Then your story picked me up and threw me into the sky.

I was engaged from the first sentence, reading with increasing speed as I moved forward. I needed to know what was going on!

Then I started to worry that you wouldn't be able to pull the ending off. You'd set a very high expectation bar. Would you meet your own challenge?
