I just called a man out yesterday on Medium for calling women bitches in the title of an article. He thought he was being funny. I observed that he was just being an asshole.

He acted like he was completely unaware that calling women bitches degrades women and is unacceptable. He actually had the audacity to compare his use of bitch to my own reclamatory, ironic, allusory usage of faggot to describe myself in my social media profiles.

This guy was a white man, so I don’t even know what’s going on with him. It astonishes me that men honestly believe that they can use such a horrible slur against half the human species.

Not to even mention, that when men use it about men, it’s a powerful homophobic slur.
