I intended to be disrespectful. She deserved it. Christians are a powerful, bullying majority who in general make life hell for queer people. So I certainly hope some Christians at least feel offended.

The author also admitted later she found the situation funny and originally intended to make jokes about it, so she’s clearly a very evil person and a bully. YOU DO NOT MAKE JOKES about vulnerable minorities. Anyone who does is a monster.

LGBTQ allies use pronouns to support trans people, at the invitation of trans people, because trans people ask them to, in the way trans people ask them to. Period.

No cis/straight person has the right to an opinion, let alone the right to lecture queer people about doing it wrong.
