I hear you, but let’s be careful not to overreact. According to law enforcement agencies, children are almost never assaulted in public restrooms. The preponderance of sexual abuse of children takes place in the child’s home by someone they know.

I don’t have the statistics at hand right now, but the odds of a child being assaulted in a restroom are supposed to be less than the odds of them dying in a traffic accident.

That’s not to say assault is unimportant when it does happen, but let’s be careful not to give in to scare tactics.

Oh, and by the way, in the extremely rare event that a child is assaulted in a public restroom, it’s just about never by a trans person.

That just doesn’t happen, statistically.
