I hear you! I held out against watching, wanting to read the books first. I finally gave up, joining you in thinking the final two books will never be published. I watched the final episode last night, but with no real pleasure. It made up a bit for the devastation of the previous episode, but not nearly enough.

I think part of what has me so emotionally wrecked by it is how true it is. I mean, it’s true in the sense that people really mostly do behave in the ways that led to the ending.
