I hear what you're saying, but I'm not really understanding what it has to do with my chewing out some idiotic Christian who says that he doesn't believe why people left the church, even after they told a researcher why they left.

One of the reasons I detest so many Christians is because of that attitude coming from that man. Christian jackasses like him don't give a shit about facts and evidence. Christians will just wave that all away and say they know better because God or Bible or whatever.

Evidently, the jackass Christian I replied to has found some magical way to wave away reality. I let him know in no uncertain terms that his attitude, his bullshit, is why so many people detest Christianity.

And I stand by that.
