I have voted Democratic my entire life, but I wouldn’t say that that’s because I’m loyal to the Democratic party. I am no such thing. I have progressive and liberal values that the Democratic party is more likely to align with, so I vote for them out of a sense of practicality.

Kamala Harris is a tough on crime, moderate to conservative politician who happens to align with a few Democratic values.

She does not align with a lot of the things I care about. Her views on law enforcement are heinous and more Republican than Democratic.

Her views on immigration are disgusting. Her ctions on immigration, trying to turn away people who have a legal right to request this asylum, have been revolting.

I pretty much loathe the woman, and unless something fundamental about her changes, I’m going to continue to hold her in great personal disdain.

Because I’m not a loyal Democrat. I hope I’m a far better person than that.
