I have often felt that way, Patrick, especially being the Goat to most religious people. Sometimes religion feels to me like a giant boulder threatening to drop on my head. But … I know and love religious people who are nothing like MOST religious people. And in the past few years, I have watched religious organizations fight for true love, justice for the oppressed, and inclusion of the marginalized. I will probably never be capable of loving religion, but I’m growing capable of acknowledging that sometimes it is not evil.
