I have not visited San Francisco in many years, and I have wondered about the impact of skyrocketing real estate on the LGBTQ population.

At one time, I experienced San Francisco proper as a place where ordinary queer people lived and worked, but I’m guessing that’s much less the case now.

Is it true that the further people get pushed out from the center, the more they get pushed into less accepting areas?
