I have always hated the idea of embalming and airtight coffins. That’s so macabre somehow. I would not have it done to my partner or to my father. Thankfully, they were both on the same page with me.

The woods feel like home to me, and while I’ve never considered a natural interment like that, it does sound … I can’t find the right word.

I want to type appealing or nice, but that’s not what I mean.

I don’t usually find myself at a loss for the right word, but let’s just leave it at that for now.
