I had to turn CNN off. Their ineptly named “magic wall” (doesn’t CNN think people want expert analysis rather than magic?) and their breathless, often incomprehensible jargon left my head spinning.

I wanted calm, rational analysis and it seems CNN was absolutely determined not to provide that. I sat there trying to figure out what they were doing. I wondered if they thought the entertainment value of their frantic discourse would sell.

Well, it did not sell me. I flipped around for a while then turned the TV off because I just couldn’t take it anymore.

It never occurred to me to try Fox. Perhaps I should have.
