I got tired of lugging around a big phone about 18 months ago and purchased a very nice smaller one. It was perfectly capable with a bright screen, and it fit in my pocket beautifully.

I really loved the portability at first. Such a relief! But over time all the little problems began to wear on me. It wasn’t just the smaller screen real estate and consequent problems reading, but the smaller keyboard and more difficulty typing quickly.

It all added up to something I wasn’t happy with. Just yesterday I got a new phone with a big screen again, and I have to say the sense of relief is palpable.

I feel like I was tied up and now I’m free. I guess I will just sacrifice the greater portability.
