I finally got a response out of the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. They replied to me on Twitter after I repeatedly tagged them that homophobic slurs are unacceptable in society and especially the classroom. They also wrote that they will be initiating an investigation against McClain and considering disciplinary options.
