I felt the same way a long time ago when I moved to Montreal and discovered a society were being queer is truly unremarkable. The freedom I experienced then was like the freedom you are reporting now.

You're very lucky to live in Germany where being queer can be unremarkable. I'm so glad you get to experience that. I'm a little envious too, because where I live in the United States that is not possible.
