I feel a lot of this, Allen Warren, because I actually did move to Montreal for a few years, and I actually live on the west coast of Michigan, although far enough south of TC that you never see any rainbow flags.

It’s tough finding something to celebrate up here on the 4th of July, for me anyway.

I’m intrigued by some of the stories that you are talking about writing, and if you ever feel like it, we would be happy to feature them in Prism & Pen, a Medium publication dedicated to telling queer stories.
