I don't remember exactly. I woke up to an announcement on my phone two or three weeks ago when I opened the Medium app. The announcement contained lots of words that looked carefully crafted to say nothing - certainly no sincere communication about why Medium managers crippled the story-writing and editing feaures that have been an important part of the app forever -- and that they themselves have long touted.
