I don’t know why many young women often use the word bitch. I don’t use it, and I speak up when I see other people using it. I usually get a lecture for not understanding that language has evolved.

But I still don’t use it.

And no, I didn’t write about women in this article, because the story was about racism, not sexism. I based it on something that happened to me, so I focused on that.

But I often write about misogyny and sexism.

Here’s an example:

People might complain that I don’t mention racism in that article. I don’t. I write 5 to 6 columns a week. I can’t talk about every issue in every column. What an impossible task that would be, and how stilted and predictable my story telling would become.
