I don't know, it's not an easy situation to resolve. But we may have rushed into this before we needed to. There are no legal cases in the pipeline that would result in Obergefell being overturned. No circuit courts have even touched the matter yet. It would be several years, at least, before the Supreme Court even got a chance to rule, and that chance wouldn't come without years of warning.

I worry that we rushed this legislation, including the regressive parts that actually could make legal arguments against LGBT equality more difficult to make.
