I don't know if anything could illustrate your point better than Esther Spurrill-Jones' story this morning about Christian churches in Kansas City defunding a Christian school that provides free, excellent education to children living in neighborhoods with underperforming public schools.

The school will soon be forced to close its doors, because those churches learned the school supports and affirms LGBTQ students.

I can't imagine anything less Christlike than that.
