I don’t know how they choose their bishops, but they so often end up with sneering, authoritarian jerks who seemingly value forcing beliefs and practices on people over almost anything else. You’d think they’d see choosing leaders like Gomez is self destructive, but almost nothing seems to be changing. And the pews empty faster and faster.
