I don't know any issue that could be more appropriate for direct democracy. The fundamental right of a woman to control her own body, to make her own reproductive choices, should be constitutionally guaranteed in my opinion. Voters in my native Ohio certainly thought so. That's why they enshrined the right in the Ohio Constitution the other day. And who better to decide Constitutional questions? If the people impacted aren't supposed to decide, who is supposed to decide? Oh wait, I forgot. Preachers and politicians, right? Ha!
