I didn’t mean that misogyny should be directed at women. I believe my article makes clear that homophobia and sexism intersect, and that both are a serious problem. Did you read the graphic that I used to illustrate the piece?

Clearly, misogyny and patriarchy in general are societal evils. But like anything toxic that ought not to exist, sexism can miss its “intended” target and hit others.

That doesn’t mean that when directed as intended that it’s a good thing.
