I could add that I have often observe an intersection with sexism when men fetishize Asian women.

When I was in the military, a significant minority of men were very into seeking out Asian wives, particularly when they were stationed in Asia or traveled to Asia on temporary duty.

Many of those men made no bones about the fact that they wanted Asian wives because they perceived Asian women to be “obedient” and “docile,” women who knew their place in the home was to be subservient to the man.

For these men, finding American women with values like that had become increasingly difficult, so they turned to Asian women, I suppose because they knew those women would be very dependent on them outside their own cultures and support networks.

You still see that today with some men. Fetishizing is a big problem, but so is domination and sexism, all of them wrapping up into a big ugly bundle of racism.
