I can't listen to Over the Rainbow without choking up, especially when young queer people sing it as an intentional anthem.

I find conservative Christian resentment of queer rainbow symbolism to be both silly and instructive.

The rainbow is a natural phenomenon. It doesn't belong to anyone, yet it belongs to everyone as part of our world.

When conservative Christians claim ownership of the rainbow, they are demonstrating their mindset, there are demonstrating the authoritarianism of their religious beliefs and practices —and authoritarianism that extends even to nature itself.

Just one reason why the religion is so toxic and dangerous.
