I can't help but wonder what it would be like to have a president in the Oval Office right now who took charge of public narrative and was seen to be the leader of the Democratic Party. I can't help but wonder what it would be like to have a president who worked hard to inspire the American people rather than just reacting to events and to Republican leaders.

I think Americans are desperate for leadership right now and would rally to effective leadership. But I'm afraid of what's going to happen in November if people keep perceiving that leadership just isn't there.

I'm much more afraid of what could happen in 2024.
