I can't help but wonder if the Tories have forgotten that the best way to make somebody dislike you is to try to force your views on them. I mean, the Scottish people deliberated for a very long time with a lot of effort (to say the least) over GRC reform. It passed overwhelmingly with cross-party support.

I don't know how serious the Tories are about blocking Royal assent, but the Scottish people are already furious about being taken out of the EU against their will.

What will the SNP do if Westminster tries to abrogate the will of the Scottish people again? You don't need a degree in political science to predict a very strong, perhaps final push to leave the UK.
