I can’t believe this is happening. This woman is on trial because she didn’t do her miscarriage "right," didn’t conduct herself 'right" after the miscarriage. "Right" being the estimation of white men, from the prosecutor to the judge.

This woman needed help dealing with a pregnancy that was going to end badly no matter what, that her doctor told her could not end with a living child.

At one point she chose to sit on a toilet. I imagine she was in a lot of pain. Cramping. Bleeding.

And for that, she’s on trial. This is just beyond outrageous.
