I agree with you that "carpenter" for "tekton" is an inaccurate translation. It's good to point that out and to point out that many things we traditionally believe about the Bible are probably not true.

You seem to be falling for the same trap of reading your own meaning into things where meaning is not specified.

You say: "Joseph and his sons’ skills were certainly needed in that development."

You don't know that, you're speculating. "Certainly" is at least misleading.

Nobody knows if the kind of craftsmanship or building Joseph engaged in was stonemasonry. That's a possibility. Other credible possibilities exist too.

Yet look at how you hang so many arguments on an unfounded assertion that you wrongly qualify as "certain."

This is a big problem with people reading religious texts in Christianity and in other religions.

You should strive to do better.
