I agree with you, as a gay man over 60 who has also handled a lot of erections.

I'm circumcised, and I don't think it's the end of the world, but I'm all but certain my penis has lost sensitivity over the decades. In my 50s, I started noticing that men (sexual partners) my age who were not circumcised seemed to have retained far more sensitivity than I had retained or that my circumcised peers had retained.

Obviously, this is just me telling one story, but it seems to make sense. Again, it's not the end of the world, but all things considered, I'd like to have my sensitivity back.
