How well I can relate! The work I do often mires me in negativity and the worst of human nature.

Living alone and deep in the country, my dog Sam and my cat Elsa provide me with a lot of unconditional love and emotional care.

When Elsa came close to dying a couple weeks ago, I was bereft almost beyond my ability to express. Her recovery from a serious illness filled me with a kind of joy and many people probably find hard to understand.

But I know you and Jernee understand, and I’m so glad you two are there for each other. Be well!
