How cool! I had a pet raccoon as a boy, but nothing more exotic than that.

Speaking of prairie dogs, though, we recently had a 13-striped ground squirrel move into the property, burrow and all. He’s a cute little thing, and he’s growing fairly tame.

When I first started to trying to figure out what he was, I learned that he’s actually a small relative to the prairie dog!
