Hm … much like the gay male world where committed romantic pairings are common but sexual exclusivity is much less common. I know that’s effectively the norm among heterosexual people too, but the difference is we gay men tend to be up front about it. We don’t “cheat" because strict sexual exclusivity is not often part of our normal relationship expectation.
