Hi there, Graeme Nicholl!

I think something I’ve learned about coming out over the decades is that it isn’t an event. It’s an ongoing, continuous process.

Coming out is a way of life.

When we make a conscious decision to “live” out, we not only battle our whispering demons of self doubt and self loathing, but we open up possibilities we might never have imagined.

It’s hard, though. Especially at first.

It does get easier!

I’ve got a story in my drafts list about living out. I think I’ll push it onto the front burner for you and get it ready to publish on Th-Ink Queerly either later today or tomorrow morning.

I see you got to university, by the way. Are there any LGBTQ groups you could join there?

Do you use Tinder? It’s actually a pretty good way to meet guys who are interested in getting to know you. I don’t recommend Grindr for that.

Anyway, I wish you all the best!
