Hi, Jackson! I'm also a queer person from a Baptist tradition, though I abandoned Christianity when I was 16 years old. I don't see any other realistic choice at the time. Exhaustion was the least of the barriers then.

I often illustrate stories with anecdotes from my Baptist childhood, some of it in Alabama, with a Baptist pastor father.

I'd be very interested to read more about your experiences as a queer Baptist and southerner.
