Hey, Ella! Great suggestions. I have found that Google image searches can be really valuable when you select their tool to filter for Creative Commons licenses. I do the image search first, trying to use unusual or specific terms like you suggest, then when the results come up, I click on tools and then Creative Commons.

I don't automatically presume all the images I see will actually be fair game. But Google does a pretty good job filtering. One thing I've learned doing that is that Flickr is a rich source of Creative Commons licensed photos. But you really never know what will show up until you search Google.

So many times I figured I would never find the image I had in mind, and then it actually showed up in a search.
