Here’s something I find interesting. Musicians who appeal to young teenage girls are often made fun of. Nothing is quite as insulting – apparently– as pointing out that a band’s fans are mostly 13-year-old girls.

But few people ever seem to have a problem with music that appeals to teenage boys. I’ve never even heard someone try to use a teenage male fan base as an insult.
