Here in the Great Lakes region, October is here and it still feels like full summer! Where I live in Michigan, we’re looking for a high about 80 today. I have broken out the pumpkin pie spice, but it doesn’t quite feel appropriate yet.

But as soon as it cools down just a little bit, I’ll be heading up to the Amish farm near me and buying their tiny sweet pie pumpkins and getting busy!
