Hell, he was still the Republican candidate for governor after stories came out about his very recent appearances in churches stating that gay people deserve the death penalty and then we are abominations his god detests.

Yeah, he really said those things, and yeah, that was likely his deliberate strategy for gaining positive attention from the electorate.

That's what the GOP is today.

So, will this latest hurt him with his base? I wouldn't think so, even though the Trump campaign is telling him to stay away from their events.

Will this latest hurt him with moderate and undecided voters? I sure hope so!
