Hear, hear! It’s really astonishing simple civil rights for transgender people is a matter up for debate.

What could be more un-American than arguing that a class of people who have existed far back as we can see in human history ought to be legally discriminated against?

I’m hopefully things are evolving for the better, I’m impatient and angry that evolution should be necessary.

We should be better than this, and I’m hopeful that soon we will be.
