Hear hear! Actually read your article while seated next to my cat. She's a stubborn, hard-working, affectionate companion. I live way out in the country where rodents can be a problem. Before Elsa, I had to buy traps and take other measures. With Elsa, no mouse dares step foot indoors.
And I might add that she's loyal and affectionate.
She's a reminder of why cats and humans bonded. We're good for one another.
It's much to the discredit of Vance and allies to bring up the sexist cat lady trope. But then, all they really have on their side is fear and derision.
Long live the cat ladies! (And the cats!)
