Hear hear! Why isn’t the president addressing the nation from the Oval Office decrying existential threats to our foundational democratic representational norms?

Why aren’t the president and senior Democratic leaders applying as much pressure as possible to the two obstructionist Democratic senators who are hijacking the Democratic agenda?

Why are senior Democrats behaving as if everything were just business as usual?

The nation stands at a crossroads, with a handful of Republican senators who represent a tiny sliver of the American public dictating policy and hijacking policy, enforcing not just minority rule but tiny minority rule.

But you’d never guess that listening to Democratic politicians. I don’t understand why not. The public should be outraged, but for some reason senior Democratic leaders seem not to want them to be.
