He never once pushed for filibuster reform. He never twisted Manchin’s or Sinema’s arms, never held them up to the American people or the Democratic party as traitors, worked with Democratic leadership in the Senate to remove them from plum committees … or anything at all. All he does is talk about getting along and making deals. All he does is fail at that.

This isn’t about showmanship or who gets a chance to be gleeful. That’s all just theater. It’s all just nonsense. Does does anybody give a fuck about appearances like that? I don’t, and none of my Democratic friends do either.

What we care about is that Biden has been weak, wavering, and totally unfocused on the issues that really matter since the day he took office.
