Having been an entrepreneur most of my life, I’m all too familiar with how challenging and expensive purchasing insurance used to be for self-employed people.

The system felt designed not to take care of people’s health, but to avoid doing so whenever possible.

The Affordable Care Act helped a lot, but it hasn’t driven down basic costs. Medical Care in the United States is far too expensive compared to other industrialized nations.

Something has to change, and I very much hope that with a Biden administration we can get started on something positive.
