Great job pointing out the hypocrisy! You'd think faith leaders would do a better job resisting the urge to be mean spirited.

What I mean is, I've seen people from all over the political spectrum trash talking student debt forgiveness. I've seen people on the left who paid off their student loans say that they feel disrespected and treated unfairly.

I guess it's kind of human nature to think that way, though it's very uncharitable, especially to people who can't pay off their student loans.

It would sure be nice if faith leaders were reminding people that we should be loving our neighbors right about now.

That they're not is hardly shocking, and reminding them of their hypocrisy is an excellent public service.
