Gratisography was new to me. Bookmarked. Thanks!

Here’s a searching tip. When using Unsplash, Pixabay, or other free services, the search function can be less than ideal. But you can harness the power of Google search with a simple trick.

Go to your Google search bar and enter a string like the following:

site:pixabay.com writing tools

“Writing tools” is arbitrary of course. Enter whatever you’re searching for, then when the results come up, click on the image tab in Google. You’ll get a long list of images that are often better searched and sorted than you coould have got from the actual site.

When you find a good candidate image, click on it and then click again to “go to source.” You may not be directed exactly to the image, but if not, a little poking around will get you there.

This trick has saved me hours of frustration.
