Good story. :-) it's something I've learned about making mistakes with gender, by the way, is not to overreact. Everybody makes mistakes, and trans people I know say that a quick apology and then moving on is the best way forward.

Nothing compounds the mistake by lingering over it or returning to it, by making a big deal of it.

Or course, you wrote this story to spread awareness, so that's really positive. But I'm sure that young couple in the park would rather you not bring it up again. Lol
