Generalize much? I'm an American, and I can write a grammatical sentence. I'm an American, and not only am I literate, I'm well read. So are all my friends.

I'm not sure I'd characterize your answer is hate speech, but it's pretty nasty in the way it disparages Americans as all being the same in a very negative sense.
